We're four friends who met as students at Appalachian State University. We've lived all over, in New York City, Boston, Charlottesville, Raleigh, and Charlotte, but these mountains always called us back. Eventually, we were able to return to the High Country to raise our families, and love living in such a vibrant mountain community.

We named our house after the Mountain Laurel, a beautiful blooming plant that grows abundantly in this area. It's always lush and green, no matter the season.
